Kana Ogawa is a Honolulu-based painter from Chiba, Japan. Ogawa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in 2017. Since then she has been showing at exhibitions including, Hawaiʻi Pacific University, Honolulu Museum of Art School, and Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design.

Ogawa is interested in finding merging perspectives and discovering her vulnerability through the lens of a third culture kid. Drawing upon research into cultural context & history, she also moves within a space of freedom, embracing fluidity and exploring the evolution of existence—the immovable self, and the progression of human experience.
